dunno why, but these recent days have been weird for me.

i suddenly have this super-strong urge to want to go somewhere. as in go backpacking. cause i dunno, i just feel like. the experience of going to another country, interacting with others, having fun, i dunno, but that just sounds tres cool.

and if i do go backpacking, japan's the 1st place i'll go. cause i dunno, i'm beginning to feel the aftereffects of taking japan as a 3rd lang. its like, sooo many people who learn jap are all super-addicted to jap culture, and it's soooo cool if i can go there and have fun.

yeah, that's if i can afford it.

i still seriously think japan is such a WONDERFUL country. you have stuff like tokyo, which mesmerises you to no end (shibuya is just THAT cool, and what with harajuku, shinjuku, ginza, akihabara etc, it's a shopper's paradise.) then there's the rustic rural charm (which for some strange reason excites me more than the urban sprawl) of the japanese villages, which are soooo breathtaking (LITERALLY) beautiful. then there's the snow of the mountains and the warmth of the beaches and the onsen. and there's the cultural monuments which are so wonderful (along with all the matsuris).

went to japan once, but i just realised i need to go there again.

ahh. then there's newyork. i realllly want to go back to ny and dunno, parade in the middle of times square? i remember when i first stepped into times square, i couldn't believe my eyes. it looked so deceptively small and simple. yet after carnegie i was instinctively drawn back to times square even if it was in the middle of the night (literally 12mn). ahh, there's so much to go and visit.

then there are other cities and places i badly need to visit.
