i'm typing this in google chrome!

ok pardon my randomness. cause i just love how chrome doesn't lag (until it comes to hotmail, but then windows would have done something special to all non-ie browsers) and how chrome looks sooo cool.

but anyway.

i dunno why, but suddenly i see a lot of bad evil news. gustav, samak - thaksin - mancity, fukuda, medvedev and eu, palin and her skeletons, even anwar... these political acts all seem to be released around this time. is it pure coincidence (besides gustav) or is it planned?

like say, we don't have this mess during olympics but after them?

i dunno, this seems like a pure proof-less evidence-less conjecture (which by default fails), but could it be that the olympics stop the world's actions for a tiny while?

that maybe people don't resign when their athlete wins 100m and 200m men's breaststroke in the olympics, but after, so as to not lower their morale?

it doesn't make sense, cause russia STILL attacked georgia like days before.

but it sounds nice. it sounds as if the olympics have this massive power that can stop all (for lack of a better word) bad events, that the spirit of sportsmanship (actually more like money, glory and greed, but who cares :D) can overcome the "evil forces" lurking in this world.

doubtful though. although i would wish for this to be the case.
